Youth Services & Programs

EVCSFB offers a variety of programming for children and teens ages 0 - 17 years old. We provide opportunities

in educational enrichment, community involvement, creativity, services, programs, events and social activities for

building self-esteem, and character. Our volunteer staff guides children and teens through activities and helps

them grow.  From events, programs, activities, classes to services and everything in between, we have something

for every youth.

 

Children Programs & Events

EVCSFB Children Programs offer a variety of special events and services just for children 0 - 12 including Easter Egg Hunt, Earth Day, Toys for Needy Kids, Coats and Mittens for kids, Knitted Hats for kids, Bundles of Joy for new babies and Summer Meals Program.   Children programs include group Play & Learn, School Supplies, KnaPaks week-end meals, Cooking Classes, Garden 'Sprouts' kids club, and special activities throughout the year.

We hope to expand our Children and Youth Programs to add an Out-of-School Program called, 'YOU'. EVCSFB

will also add computer classes, Kid's Creativity, Educational progams, recreational and social activites, so parents

as well as children and teens can particpate.

The New Building Provides Youth Programs & Events

EVCSFB Youth Programs offer a variety of special events and services just for youth 11 - 17, including clothing, meals

and cooking classes.  Activities we hope to offer in the New Building will be 'Tigers Den' a drop-in after school

hang-out for local teens. Activities will include Computer Lab, Tutoring, Snack Bar, and games.  Other special

events just for teens will be Movie Nights, Tounament Nights, dancing, arts & crafts, photography, team building,

goal setting, wood working, painting and Karaoke Night. EVCSFB provides a safe environment for teens and

children to socialize in a positive way.  Parents permission required. Join the FUN!

All youth must check in at front door and have a current Registration Packet on file. EVCSFB provides a fun, supervised, safe and supportive, non-violent, drug-free environment where children and youth can have fun

Tigers Den

An after-school program for children and youth. We hope to add ping pong, shuffleboard, foosball and for youth

to surf the internet in the computer lab to help with school assignments, put together arts and crafts, attend a

wood working, photography or cooking class, and get food from the snack bar. Children and youth can get help

with homework, ask for advice, volunteer or just have fun.

Movie Night

Watch movies at the 'Tigers Den' and enjo free popcorn. Pizza available for $1 a slice.  All moves rate PG-13 or less. School ID required. Schedule of movies will be listed under our Event and News section. Parents are invited to attend.

Wii Night

Youth can participate in our Wii Video Games. Games are nonviolent, and are for recreation, tournament, education and fun! All participants must have a signed Wii Video Game Permission form on file, school ID and Parent permission form.

Karaoke Night

Children and youth entertain their friends and family. Grab the mic and sing along to your favorite songs. EVCSFB offers an open stage for Karoake Night. Sing along and let us hear you sing!

Root Beer Floats Night!!!

Enjoy a free root beer float and get excited about a night filled with activities, fun and meet new friends. Learn about new activities and events that you can participate in.

Dancing

Dancing classes for dance moves, fitness and fun. Dancing is for youth, children and adults.

Wii Bowling Tournament

Wii bowling tournament is for youth, children and adults. You dont' have to be a pro bowler to play.

 

Foosball

Foosball is for youth, children and adults. Come with fiery determination to beat your friends and win a prize.

​Board Game Night

Play Monopoly, Scrabble, Uno, Checkers, Chess, Sorry and many other board games. Fun for adults, children and teens.

Craft and Arts Fair

EVCSFB offers an Annual Craft and Arts Fair.  This event is a fundraiser to benefit our Youth Programs. Vendors fee, discount if paid 2 weeks before date of event.  Youth host this fundraiser and participate in the event.
